MINT Vintage American Girl Barbie. Original NO Retouches RARE with light eyes.
This was part of an estate sale find. I will do my best to describe. This is a really beautiful, perfect looking doll in GREAT condition for it's age.It is a vintage item so please expect some minor scuffs and stuff like that. Her makeup tested as all original.
Through the years her makeup faded to strikingly gorgeous colors. Her eyes are entrancing and her lips are a beautiful buttery color with a hint of peach perhaps? She's had her hair protected through the years.No odors, No earring holes, no neck issues, no loose arms or legs. (3rd position's a little harder but will hold after 2-3 tries). No bite marks or splits. Doll is pretty clean over all but could use a better wipe down.
I'll leave that for you to do. I was told that the previous owner was a huge doll collector. Back in her day she would enter her dolls in contests. Some of the dolls I will be listing have been in contests.I'm not sure of the placement they came in. Just sharing a little of what I was told by family members at the estate sale. I was also told this particular doll had a nickname of "Cleo", short for Cleopatra.
Her owner named her that because she reminder her of a beautiful goddess. For competition she was dressed in a handmade Egyptian outfit.She continues to live up to that name because she's certainly lovely.. Aka "Cleopatra, the goddess of love". How do I find the items I list? I search online, through classified venues, real estates sales, local auctions or wherever I have to in order to locate valuable items to resell.
If the item is out of state I will travel there to retrieve it. If an item is a well sort after item (hot ticket item) I choose to list it where I can recoup my investment as quickly as possible.
