RARE Set of 12 Walmart Exclusive 2003 Barbie Birthstone Collection (Jan-Dec)

Since ancient times, birthstones have been considered lucky for the people born in that month. This collection features wearing birthstone jewelry and gowns in corresponding colors. Each doll in the series wears the samae style of gown, which is decorated with glitter and worn with a sheet floor-length wrap. The (simulated) birthstone is in the necklace.

The Caucasian Birthstone Barbie dolls were released four at a time during the course of the year, in the spring, summer, and fall. African-American versions of each 2003 edition were released in the winter of 2003. Dolls have NEVER been removed from box and are in EXCELLENT / MINT condition. The box for September is damaged. Very minor creases to the boxes for February, March and August.
