Up for Sale is the American Girl Barbie doll with Blonde Bubblecut hairstyle from the 1965 release date, this is a very rare version of this doll called Transitional - since she has American Girls body and face paint, but her hairstyle and head are of Bubblecut Barbie. Mattel wanted to use up leftover factory stock from Bubblecut dolls that at times became out of fashion. This version was only released for European market, she is very hard to get as its absolute rarity released only for a short period of time and only in a limited market. The doll is absolutely mint, no flaws, never removed from the box, original cellophane completely intact on hair. Very desired doll for every Barbie collector. Wrist Tag mint and attached - again NRFB item.
There is no discoloration on the doll's face or body, makeup is perfect, all accessories such as a stand, shoes and booklet are included since the doll's box has never been opened. The Box is in great condition for its age with only a few scrufs around the edges of the box that could be called shelf wear.
The colours of the box are very vivid and not touched by light at all.
