Vintage Barbie Marlo Flip Mod Twist n' Turn TNT Blonde Doll #1160 LOT
This is a gorgeous Vintage Barbie Marlo Flip Mod Twist n' Turn TNT Blonde Doll #1160, 11.5 tall. Her hair color is light lemon yellow. Her lip color is a medium Coral and her hair is a light lemon blonde. The doll is made by Mattel and comes from the MOD TNT vintage era, making it a very rare find in this good of condition and a valuable addition to any collection. My doll looks so good - you might think she's a reproduction but she's not. My vintage Marlo has the pink ribbon in her hair. She looks nicer than the reproduction one.
I included a photo of my vintage right next to the reproduction one. The repro is not included with this listing. My Marlo Barbie has fabulous eyelashes that are soft and look original to me.
She has great cheek color, great lip color, and great eyebrow and eye color. My pics do not do her justice. Her hair is evenly colored. All her nails are painted.There are NO leg chews, NO neck splits, NO nose nips. Arms and waist and legs work correctly. No stains or green ear. On the ball of her right foot, there are some tiny holes besides the rectangular hole shape that comes on the bottom of their feet.
And some of the very tips of the toes on that right foot are gone. I didn't even notice it all these years. But when I magnified it, I noticed it. Her hair is shiny and it feels a tiny bit dry. I used a clear rubber band around her neck at times on her hair in some of the pics.
In some of the photos, the clear rubber band slipped between her head and neck. There is some thinning hair, particularly on top of her head (see pics).
On her rear the writing says, 1966, Mattel Inc. Pend, Made in Japan and on the opposite side is a 6. Vintage Barbie Marlo Flip comes with the Vintage Mod Barbie Doll Night Clouds in Yellow Orange Peignoir Outfit #1841 and I added the pink underwear (pink purple tint) which is not a perfect match so if you prefer, I could switch the pink/purple out for a white one of similar quality.
The little pink slippers are also included and have the little pink ribbon bow on them. The night gown bottom area swerves to the side a little.
The last 2 pics show the typical leg marks. The last one is the back of the thighs.
The legs are a little darker than the torso. The white stand will be included, not the clear one. We are a smoke free and pet free home.If you have any other questions or want another pic, just let me know.
