Vintage White Ginger Blonde Bubble Cut Barbie Doll Transitional Solid R Body'61

Gorgeous 1st Edition White Ginger Blonde Barbie doll wearing original Zebra Striped swimming suit & black heels. She is such a pretty doll with the classic White Ginger styling- thinner face, pink lips, green eye shadow, turquoise eyes. Her hair has oxidized some to a more lemon yellow. She has all her original face paint with no touch-ups. The only issue I can find is some minor rubbing of the paint on her lower lip. She is wearing a pair of reproduction pearl earrings from the Mattel repro Easter Parade set. No neck splits, no green ear.

She has a few extra pin pricks around both ears like someone was trying to put her earrings back in not too successfully. They are covered by her hair and the earrings, however.

She has a solid "Barbie R" marked body. I'm assuming she was a transitional doll at the very beginning of the production of bubble cuts and the phase-in of the hollow body. It's in great shape. She has all her original red nail polish with some minor rubbing. She has one black dot on her lower tummy and grey spots on her upper back which look like she rubbed up against the box or stand during storage. Her suit is original with no holes, stains or odors. Just some age related fabric wear. Her shoes are in great condition. No splits and the left is marked Japan.
